Human Cloning: How do you define yourself?

Imagine there is a exact replica of you in aspect of heights, size, IQ, same face structure, same thought capacity and let's say he/she has the same opportunities of what you got. How would you like to differentiate yourself from that person?? Given the advancement of Biotechnology and genetics and also to some extent Artificial Intelligence and Robotics it's not far we can expect it soon. By the way who knows some may even have walk among us. This point to a very fundamental idea and question which have been a hot topics since human kind existed, "How do you define yourself from other?" The question though appears to be objective, it is subjective in nature. How hard one may try to generalise the question and gave a standard answer like in any of standard test, the answer is always incomplete. You may say, I agree and subscribe to his/her answer but if you dig further into yourself you will find its not at all what you really define yourself to be. Everyone ha

Is there a meaning to life?

Back when I was in my highschool, we had 'Catechism Class' a kind of religious lesson especially of Catholic Dogma on Sunday. One of defining questions we are taught was 'who made you and why did God made you?' The answer of course was God made me, to know him, to love him and serve him on this earth and to enjoy with him in afterlife. This seems quite simple and answer the questions: 'what is the purpose of life' for a young catholic boy in me back then. Technically, meaning and purpose may not be the same but for simplicity as in most case 'meaning of something is derived from its purpose' per say and here on I would use them interchangeably. Throughout human history and every individual we are grapple with the questions "What is the meaning of  Life and often we wonder if there is actually ang meaning or purpose in our life?'  Various philosopher has postulated what they consider is a meaning of life. A very famous concept is 'Essentialis

A man delusion

Confused and delusional i am, loss in this waves of life. Searching for something to hold on and collecting all the little bits I could grab treasuring all the while it's within my reach. Recklessly waves strikes again and over again taking bits by bits which I once hold on to. Does life has a purpose and meaning after all or is all about surfing the waves to meet my end someday. Maybe this life is but an endless Ocean after all and am but a surfer in the endless Ocean. Tired and wary I am trying to understand this life of mine. Is this how my life has be determined to be or would it make any difference if I did make different choice. The vastness of life has consume me thus far and my destination still beyond my sight if there is one after all. They say live the moment and let future be future yet this delusional mind of mine need something to look for. The present is all the more confusing with all the alternative it present and rather would those alternative makes any difference

A perfect round Chapatti

Image
"So you eat Chapatti in your home?"- a surprised classmates asked. While I use to like Chapatti, it was during this lockdown that I develop satisfaction and rather become addicted to making perfect round Chapatti. So ladies and gentlemen  here's my recipe for a perfect round Chapatti. Take a cup of coarse flours (atta), half cup of fine flours (Mieda) and add either salt or sugar to the taste. Mixed it well and pour in the right quantity of water and stir it. Avoid pouring in large amount of water, if you aren't sure instead add little by little. Apply some oil on your hand and knead the mixture thoroughly over and over again till it become soft and show some elasticity. Spread some flour on a flat surface, take out a bit of dough and flatten it using cicular rolls. While flattening the dough ensure a medium equal pressure on both ends of the rollers. This will ensure the evenly spread out and thinning of chapatti. While flattening the dough, I usually prefer rotate i
